Hectic week coming up

There goes the weekends..... enjoyed the stay at my sis's place as usual. Yesterday had a decent seafood dinner ; crab , lala , sotong those kinda stuffz...tho i'm not really a big fan of crab cuz ' lan duo' to crack it open just to eat it. Very ma fan..lolz.. the dinner was wif my sis's and bro in law's fren. Right after that we decided to go yam cha.. and we went to a place called 'Teapot' in SS2. The tea we ordered , Irish cream was superb...very smooth and the smell is great. We also ordered another pot which is Summer pudding but i'm not really into that 1, cuz it's too sweet for my liking and not as aromatic as the Irish cream. Then we had caramel , chocolate mousse cream as well , nicEEE.. But i din ate much of the chocolate cuz the day before had a huge jar of chocolate ice cream milk at 'Char Chan Teng'.

This morning i was forced to wake up just to play sumthing dat i dun really play at all.... badminton. My bro in law and my sis's fren decided to meet up just to play badmiton this morning. Man i was there sort of like just to make up the number , 4 person to play doubles match. I think the last time i played badminton was like in primary skool. Can't blame me though, i'm from Malay skool and it's just not 'heng' to play badminton in Malay skool. I can say i sux man.. lolz.. a lot of times hit air instead of the shuttle cock. Dunno how many times i made a great leap , and sort of had the shape to make a great smash but hit air oni... arGHhhhh...*disgusted* At first i was not really into playing , but after warming up, i was hot and wanted more and more ...lolz... in the end i thoguht it was quite fun. My only major worry during that time was my hamstring, afraid to injured it again but during the game i felt ok so i was in control of myself and i didnt push too hard. Tourney is just around the corner , so i wouldn't wanna sacrifice anything. Wanted to go for a swim actually , later in the afternoon but i just dun wanna make myself too tired. So i spent the day just laze around. Got a blister on my right palm as a result of hitting too hard; badminton. I'm not really use to the whippping feeling of badminton as i'm more used to playing tennis. Tennis is using the whole arm while badminton is more to flicks using the wrist. Need some time to adjust to it.

Hectic week coming up.... beginning with a seminar early 2moro morning..so gonna go to bed early.... ciaoz..

8 more days to go for the most exciting event ever...lolz.. MMU Inter-Dojo Goshin-Ryu Karate-Do Tournament '06. The past few days it's basically all bout training training and training. There aren't much time for rest and weight training. Concentrating more on one day training , the next day joggin and it goes on and on till the weekends. This weekend i'm bak to my sis's place again. Need to get my formal clothes as i have to attend some dumb function this coming monday.

Yesterday was bad , i pulled my hamstring while walking up a more than 1 metre step. Can feel my left side hamstring pulled. Today i still have the feeling. This will be a major blow if i can't participate in the upcoming tourney. It'll be unthinkable.... i'll go krazzzzzyy.. hope that doesn't happen anyway. Just pray for me .... Probably training this few days have been too intensive. Not enought rest as well mabbe... need one or two days break just to make sure everything is oK.

Today went to Ikea early in the morning. Sis got things to buy there, so just follow her around. Everytime i go there i can really get some good ideas on how i wan my future home to be. I think next time my own place will be Ikea furnished as well, kinda like their designs ..anyway who doesnt? Only thing is the $$$$$ factor. But i think some of the things are quite solid, in a nutshell it's value for money. So i guess i wont be paying for nothing. I had a bad experience fixing non-Ikea furniture... quality and end product is not as solid and fixing the thing makes mee go nutz.

Thought of goin swimming later, but not sure if my hamstring will prevent me from doing so ,we'll seee wat happens... ciaoz..

Salsa babeh~

For the past two days i had my weekend at my sis's place in Peee Jay. I think overall it was good as i think i need sort of a break at least not stucked in my room here. One of the best reason to go my sis's place is there's alwiz nice food to eat cuz my sis n my bro in law alwiz likes to try-out new places for food. So they alwiz take me around to makan and of cuz it's a good thing... dun need to pay also...lolz.. Other then dat, it's also kinda fun to hang out at my sis's place, cuz there's astro ( i can catch all the soccer matches..which is kewl) , there's streamyx also..so can online if i need to and best of all... there's pool table..so i can poke ballz for fun n free anytime i wan no matter how many times i want. ( Super kewl~)

Anyway, i'm quite thankful to have a place to go. A lot of my friends were saying that weekends they don't have any place to go. At least i have two sisters here in KL, one in Subang one is PJ. Therefore i've two options *wink wink* but i prefer to go to the 1 in PJ obviously....

Today is a fun day... why? cuz it's monday and there's salsa class...man i'm lovin it 'pa da pa pa pa ' =P It's really enjoyable and it's something new to learn. Probably cuz it needs partner at sort of add some spice to it. Today i have a new partner..ehehe.. told one of my fren bout dis salsa thing and she seem interested. So i asked her to come today and she did came... So we partnered. I think for first timer she's quite good, not surprising at all.... clubbin punya kepala... as partners i think we did ok although at times we didnt really sync together. I still not sure whether she's gonna be my fixed partner... we'll see next week. Last week , the class seems to be lacking choices to partner...but today.... damn... so many gurls... i could have easily hand-pick who to partner with if i didnt have a partner. But then have to be fast also... cuz i noticed a lot of buayas around, already preying for targets. Another good thing bout dis dance class is that it sort of bonds me better with some of my coursemates. Lolz..after the class i can't believe it we were still talking bout the steps... aww man.. hahaa... and when there's more friends there's alwiz more rumours to it, probably stories. Then they proceed with some discussion bout it... while i just listen cuz i'm not really updated with rumours and i don't talk 'ci fei' 1... lolz..

Right after dinner, went bak to my room to let the digestion take place, den went out for a jog with my buddy for like an hour. Then immediately after that, at bout 10pm went out to do some weapon training in a team of 3 people. 2moro we are suppose to do some rehearsal demo. We were asked to do demo for college festival and Career Fair. At the same time, end of next week there'll be a tournament. So things are getting hectic. Strange class...

This sem i've decided to take Co-curriculum and there's basically two choices, either Sports related or Language as co-curriculum. Since it's kind of a hectic semester for me, i choosed the easier path by taking Sports; Taekwondo as my co-cu. Each week there's only one lecture which is two hours long. Yesterday was my 2nd lecture session. We're asked to answer the following set of questions one by one. So far we've spent 4 hours of lecture doing this and i can easily recalled the questions. It's like stucked in my brain already. In the class there's almost 30 students but there are still ppl who haven't been asked to answer these questions yet including me. I've already prepared my answers ages ago, so i'll answer these questions as well.

1. What is your name? What is the meaning of your name?
My name is EJ, in chinese is ' you3 ren2' It means sort of like a kind person

2. How old are you? How do you see yourself now?
I'm 21 (getting old adi..dammit). I see myself as someone who is preparing for the transition from studying to working.

3. What is the aim of your life? and what are you doing to achieve your aim?
To be successful in life, achieving financial freedom (by that time Millionaire adi). In short 'Get rich or die tryin'. What am i doing to achieve my aim? Pursue a degree course , read books...

4. What drives you to CMT 1020( the course subject- Taekwondo) ?
Learn more bout the art and my friends told me the lecturer is a kind one...

5. What do you love most? Why?
I love Sports , whether is soccer , tennis , table tennis , outdoor stuff like rock climbing etc

6. What do you hate most? Why?
I hate smokers. They polute the air, they increase other people's risk of getting lungs cancer. Real bastards...

7. What is your greatest fear? Why?
Not being able to live up to my own expectations. At times we do need a bit of luck as well in order to do well. I think i do have fear of rejection as well..but i'm not sure which one is the greatest fear.

8. What kind of future husband/wife do you want?
Understanding person..

9. If you have decided to marry someone how do you plan to approach him/her?
I will tell you after i've decided to marry someone.... (but i'm sure that lecturer won't accept this answer so i still need to crap sumthing) Probably take a trip to a exquisite carribean island and propose there...

10. What is your 'PERSONA' ?
Determination is my middle name. If i've decided to do something i will definately put my best foot forward.

Beginning of a new semester

I've been neglecting my blog side for quite some time. So i think it's time for me to pick it back up...hehe since i've have so much things to pour out and this is a good place for me to do so. So many things happened since the last sem holiday. Anyway, was kinda busy last week.. got occupied with CNYE Spring carnival. I have to say it's a great relief that it was over, finally. It was the first time i was involved in a chinese society kinda thingy. So, i was a bit nervous having to try converse in chinese. Overall i think i did get to practise my chinese but i'm not sure if i made the correct decision by joining this event. From wat i noticed, there seems to be a slight difference in the culture. Most of my frens, girls who are chinese educated are kinda like lansi...
I really wanted to learn chinese. I think it's almost impossible to find a person who is patient enough to teach me. I think for a guy to teach a guy, it would be kinda hard cuz like i said it takes a lot of patience. Initially I thought it'll be better if there are girls who are patient enough to teach me but i guess i was wrong haha.. some are like so damn lansi while others talk english with me...aiseh...like dat i learn nothing in the end...not good at all.. i guess have to depend on myself and read more books.... I don't know how many times have i reminded myself to alwiz depend on yourself and not to depend on others... yet i forgot bout it...
Probably the expectations are simply different. Well that's juz my theory...den again it could be wrong but i dun think it's wrong though...lolz Being sum1 like me who doesnt speak much chinese, it's a bit hard to communicate to the girls especially. At the same time i wasn't keen on speaking english among cls community cuz it's juz odd. I don't want to be the special one..ahhahah Nevertheless...i wanna thank my recreational group members Li Wen, Yaa Lian , Tsu Yen, Peak Pei, Huang Jin , Sam , Yaw Han etc for helping me out or being nice to me during the meetings and events.

Finished one event, now the next event coming up will be the MMU Inter-Dojo Goshin-Ryu Karate-Do Tournament '06. Cuz of the clashing of events, it's kinda hard having to cram it one week earlier den the original plan. Now it's confirmed and will be on the 5th of March 2006. There's much work to be done. Cuz i'm not just organizing this tournament, i'm participating in it as well, so i'll definately need to push myself hard and train hard for it. I would definately love to be able to win in my own tournament, that would be so sweeeeeeet~!!! so come cheer , give ur love and support to me ( only if your a girl) , for guys ur morale support is all i need...hehe

Yesterday, there's two things that had been bugging me. Both of it has one thing in common. One of it is , my rmate wanted to go UNITE... and he plans to get a table, and he kept on askin me to go. Ok the prob is not that i don't want to go. Since i've neva been to prom nite b4..i dun't bloody mind. The thing is i don't know who to go with as partner. I don't want to go just alone like dat... dat would sux big time. Normally prom nite where got ppl go alone 1???? if wanna go alone, might as well no need go... Another thing was yesterday, attended a dance class. It was a salsa class. As you know, if you don't know so now u know.. i've alwiz like to try new things and i like to be those jack of all trade kinda type. So i went for this class to learn a thing or two bout dancin' and the class was quite nice. But the thing is it requires a partner. Damn.. now you see the thing in common....During the classs, at first we practise dancin' individually then we're supposed to get a partner. So i asked to girl to partner me but she already hav dance partner...kns sial. I really hate to be in such position, to be rejected like dat. It's sort of damaging to my already low and fragile confidence when dealing with girls. If you talk bout things like sports then it will be different. I think those are the areas where i'm confident bout myself and i do think i excel in it. At least average or above average. Whether it's playing table tennis , tennis or playing soccer or Sparring in Karate fights , i don't have a problem with all those. Cuz i do see it as my strength. Even if you say public speaking, i don't think i have a problem with that. I don't seem to have a problem with that. BUt when it comes to chinese speaking girls... damn...i dunno wat to say....
Anyway back to the dancin' part. It would be great if i can find a dance partner, cuz when i learn sumthing i'm alwiz serious bout it and i think you need a fixed dance partner so that you'll develop the understanding and more comfortable with each other so that you can dance better duh~!! At the end of the day, no solutions to either one of the problem... and the problem continues... SCREW all this partner thingy...hell with it... hahahahha
