Merry X'mas

First of all.. a shoutout for my sis who gave birth to her new born baby last monday. A healthy 3.04kg baby boy. It's already a few days since she delivered her baby but to think of it now, i still dun know wat's her baby boy's name...doiNK~! Yes indeed i'm a lousy bro. But i did ask bout her condition which is the most important thing. She kinda panic just before she gave birth.
All i'm hoping for now, is that it's a good baby boy. Cuz next week,my sis will be coming back home and my mom's gonna help her take careof her baby. So, she gonna occupy the room next to mine. I'll really go nutz if da baby screams in the middle of the night. I'll surely get damn cranky if i'm lack of sleep. *praying hard*

Life for me lately has been pretty much up and down. There are times where i felt that i could used a trustable pal. Just to maybe share my thoughts.
As the new year draws nearer, there's only a couple of weeks left before my training finishes. I don't feel over the moon for this to finish nor happy with the working condition here because i think that no matterwhat happens there's always a pros and cons. When training finishes, there comes the FYP and the final sem of 4 years of studies. There are times where we might think that we hit the jackpot but there can also be a detrimental impact that tags along. Every thing depends on what we can see. There are times when we can only see the negative part of things. This is when the old saying comes in " look at the bright side".

As for me, no matter what happens i don't really have much reactions on things. I can be pretty heartless at times. But this is what really draws remarks on how kewl is EJ.

Anyway, that's all from me, MerrY meRry X'mas everyone andsince new year is just around the corner, gonna make my yearly review for 2-0-0-6. So, that's all from me... ciaoz~!

Week 6

It has been such a boring week. There's hardly any thing to do at work.Anyway there's quite a number of things that i wanted to blog about buti think i kinda forgot bout it. Should've wrote it down when i thought bout it.

There's one memorable moment this week during work. There was this indian guy who actually asked me if my spiky hair is actually natural or wat? I did pause briefly cause i wasnt sure if he was aware of thisthing called gel. I should have told him that when i go level 2 supersaiya my hair will be longer and it'll be yellow in color. Probably thismacha grew up watching dragon ballz.
There's quite a few weirdos which i find quite amusing at work. There'sHitler(chinese version of hitler or probably just a wannabe) , compiler (a guy who has the look ...i mean hardware look) and there'sthis guy which my fren likes to kap so much, this guy likes to openhe's leg so wide it's like he needs the extra air ventilation down there.

Week after week, it's been pretty much similar. Feeling the blues every monday, tuesdays, wenesdays, thursdays are relatively OK... fridays rocks~! Well it used to actually. It's the time of the week when we go jamming, and yes it's literally. Never knew traffic jams would be this stressful. The worst part of this week is there's traffic jams even on weds and thurs... it took me like over one and a half hour just to get back hiome. It really drives me nuts at times. I think it's the drivers that make the jam horrible. I wish there was just one lane where you can't cut in here and there, so everyone just have one bloody lane to stick to.

This week, i just discovered sumthing. I feel like i have this curse with me. And it's like i can't do anything bout it. Probably lackingthe bit of luck i guess. There's part of me which i've been dying to release but at times it just doesnt seem so right.

Currently, not really in the right frame of mind, there's something that really bothers me.

Life's a bitch...

This week is sort of a not so good. When I was at my work place, some of the Indons and Malays seem to enjoy teasing me. At my department, there’s a few production line. When I walked past certain lines, I’ve been whistled by the gurls. I was like wtf?? Often I just choose to ignore it. When I go to my friend’s department, the same thing happened. It made me felt kinda vulnerable. Sometimes I just avoid going into some of the area, not to say that I’ll get rape by the gurls there, rather I feel annoyed at times.

There’s a lot of times where people was asking for my hp no. I’m not too sure what was I thinking the other day when I actually gave my number and immediately that night I received a call from some fella…. It was really crappy. Since then I learned my lesson but it’s quite tough having to give excuses when people were asking for you no. or mabbe I’m just horrible at telling lies unless it’s white lies =P I’ve even been asked whether I would mind going out with a Malay gurl. Again I was like wtf?? No offence to Malay gurls but rather it’s just the person who asked me that question. Anyway I thought about this long before. There used to be Malay chick I got to knew. But after thinking bout it, I guess I love ‘bak kut teh’ too much and it’s not worth it to convert. Damn, seriously I really think I can open a Indon fan club at my working place d.

After going into week 5 working, I think I’m getting used to things. I don’t seem to whine anymore. Yet I feel more like a whore. There are a few engineers who can assign tasks to me if they feel they need me. I can’t refuse when they need me. All I have to do is just complete the task. Sometimes the task given is good while some are not so good. If the task that I do satisfies them, they’ll look for me again the next time. But I do prefer having something to do rather than nothing to do else time would past very slowly. There was once when I was given multiple task by several different people. So, right after I finished one task, I have to proceed with the next person’s task. Don’t u think i’m sucha whore?

Another week of working days begins. This week should feel slightly shorter I hope since I’ve eliminated the Monday blues thingy. I took a day off…. Muahahaha. I did not have any reasons to take this day off but rather I juz took it for fun. At least I get to catch Spurs’s match yesterday midnight. Since working life started, my sleeping time changed rapidly. The other day I actually went to bed at 9pm, damn I can’t remember if there’s any day that I slept so darn early in my life. On average lately, I think my sleeping time is more a less 10pm. Even during weekends, at around 10pm I tend to doze off. My biological clock has been corrupted and it’s been set at 6pm. Even during weekends I tend to be awake at that time, but of course I continue sleeping till 8am which is sufficient I think.

Anyway, talk bout’ Spur’s match yesterday was damn disappointing. I think there’s something wrong with the new Brown jersey which they wore. It sort of brings bad luck to the team. Yet to win away from home this season and they look far from breaking the away form duck. Although the jersey looks great but this season has been pretty much disastrous. Damn…I miss the dumb Thomson jersey with the stupid smiley face. The jersey is so damn ugly but last season, most of the time they performed well wearing it. I certainly wouldn’t mind them wearing it, if it can improve the team’s luck.

Had a pretty much quiet weekend…My cousin just gave birth to her first child, so I went to visit her; glad that’s she’s fine. I was offered to carry the baby but of course my reply was immediate “NOoooOOOO”. Next month should be my sis’s turn. My bro in law and her looks to be preparing well and I think she’s getting nervous bout’ it. My cousin told that she called her the other day more a less consult her bout giving birth experience but of course my cousin did not give much away else I think she’s gonna panic.

Yesterday morning, went for a morning walk with dad. It was only my 2nd time to the highest hill in BM I think. I think it’s bout’ ¾ of the Penang hill, just as challenging as Penang hill IMO. Nothing special bout’ goin up nor comin down from the hill but rather the quality time that I had with my dad. It’s been a while since I had the father-son conversation. I think it was a great opportunity for my dad to know how much he’s boy has grown. I think my dad needed to know my needs and my long term mission. I’m kinda pleased it turns out well.

p/s This is my 100th post~! YeH babeeeee

Revitalize

Phew...it was sucha hectic weekend. Last Friday, immediately after work, went down to KL for some unsettled business. Funny thing is, people seem to get the wrong idea when i told them I’m going to KL. I don't think i can blame em' for thinking this way but if ppl were to know EJ better i think they might know. All i can say is that my trip to KL wasn’t due to any particular reason involving another soul. I'm actually quite glad i had this 'short break'. I think i kinda needed it. The long journeys sort of gave me some rest to reflect back on recent weeks.

At times i feel quite busy during working hours. Last week especially, had to crack my head to calculate return of investment to purchase a machine. It was a race against time, since i had to finish it on Friday itself so that the purchase order can be submitted on time. The machine actually costs RM 54K, my biggest project so far i think. Calculating the ROI was quite tricky, but my supervisor really impressed me. He was doin all the math’s pretty quick in he's head and i had to listen attentively just to catch up. I was like , "damn this bugger can calculate real fast". In the end, i was sniggering deep inside me when he tried to correct me but instead he was the one who got confused with one part. Nevertheless i still respect him for giving me such useful tasks and what he told me during my first day at the company, not just about him being a higher upper first class stud. That actually felt bit like “harimau mau tunjuk belang”.
It’s good in a way that I wasn’t really treated like a trainee. But there are other engineers there who asked for my assist to do some operator kinda work.

The last few days I had to help out at the re-work section, soldering power transistors. There were like few hundreds of circuits to be soldered and till today it’s still not yet finished. Initially it felt horrible having to solder for hours. Currently, my soldering skill is just damn good, and it’s almost guaranteed to
Pass the quality control test. There’s actually damn freaking a lot of criteria’s for soldering. Kinda occupied this few days either preparing CEP justifications or organize stencils else solder. The good thing when there are things to do is time flies.

Was thinking about taking leave just to have a day or two to laze at home, watch tv and stuffz. When I’m watchin tv, I think MTv is da channel dat I watch most. There’s few shows which I think is ok Room Raiders (used to be nicer) , cribs , trick it out , pimped my ride , wanna come in and the new show ‘final Fu’.

The other day when I was in the car with my dad, there’s this car passing by. Then
My dad pointed to me and he said “this car actually will look quite good if it’s pimped”. Lolz, I was laughin inside me cuz dat shows that I’ve been watching so much of ‘pimped my ride’ till even my dad knows da meaning of ‘pimped’. Ahhaahahhaha… my dad rawkz

It’z now 10pm, n it’s time for EJ to Zzzz…. Adios peepz

Kilang Emak Saya Punyer

This week has been quite kinda eye-opening, since i've got my first taste of working life. Although just as a trainee, it's
still possible to see roughly how things would be next time.

After finishing my first week, which felt like the longest week of my life and it's like i'm there for months. Currently
working for a company called KESP, Kilang Emak Saya Punyer which is quite a small company. I'm actually placed in a
department called SMT, Surface Mounting Technology where the electronics component are being placed on the PCBs(Printed Circuit
Board), and basically there's a lot of freaking machines there.

Man, i've feel so tired when people ask me what do i do there cause my first assignment is sort of a long one which will
take about 6 weeks to complete. Anyway, here goes; the 2nd day working in the company, i was asked to sort of design a
soldering machine to replace the current soldering method which is the basic method where we use the soldering pen and solder
the component manually. So, i was asked to do a in dept studies on how the processes is done, the materials they use where
there's different type of PCBs. Then, i need to contact a vendor to ask them to fabricate a machine that can solder this
type of board. My supervisor was telling me, "you can make appointment with him and disccuss it outside of the company or
bring him to the lobby area or other place". The funny thing, is i haven't even been to the lobby area myself.

I was glad that the meeting with the vendor turn out OK. It was quite a nervous encounter since, the person has been
fabricating such machines, and surely the person knows more bout the materials and process since i was there for only the
3rd day. So, at the moment i'm just waiting for the quotation. Once i get it, then i will need to compare the effeciency,
whether the machine is faster and more cost efficient compared to the old method. If yes, then the machine will be
purchased. There's when i thought my job would be done. But no... i will still need to wait for the machine arrival
and installation. Then, i'm suppose to perform some testing to check whether the machine is working fine before being
send to production side. If it's OK, then i'm supposed to train the particular operator who will be using the machine on
how to operate the machine. My final step would be to just replace the old method. Some kinda task huh? Lolz and i still
have another one which is dealing with another type of machine. I think this task are not bad cause i did learn about some
procedures and i get to commmunicate with people from other company. I'm also suppose to pressure my vendor all the time
so that i can get everything i need asap >:).

Unfortunately, i'm not occupied with this task all the time, so i do have a lot, yes a lot of free time where i'm suppose to
roam around , checking out machines. I'm taking my time, since there's a lot of machines with different functions, so i'm
sort of learning about each machine each day, getting more detail. Sometimes when i'm free i just go over to help out the
machine operators, all Indon girls. Kinda felt for them actually, having to work for long hours with minimum pay.

I'm actually starting to feel the heat bout' working life. Feeling the stress when i think bout it. It's like how's my
career gonna be when i grad the next time. My supervisor told me a lot of stuffz bout engineering line the very first day
when i came, i think that really hit my head. Starting to think if i have enough potential to fulfill my ambition. I felt that
sometimes engineers do lack some qualities. I won't feel content working at a place doing more a less the same thing for
the rest of my life just to cover all expenses. Even, if it's a big company, with benefits , great working environment etc
i'm supposed to just do the job and wait for my salary at the end of the month? I think this is where those kinda interview
question comes in. Where do i see myself in 5 years time?

It still comes back to the basic, my mantra..lolz
"The difference with being extraordinary and ordinary is the lil bit extra"

- it's quite a strange week for me filled with crankiness, stress, tiredness, jealousy and i think i'm bound to give up
something which i've been thinking all this while. Sadly, it doesnt look like it'll work out-

Sigh..

4 words... i am sooo dead... I just broke the car's door handle. Just when i'm about to enter the car, the door handle broke. I was like wat the fucckkk (while holding the door handle). Of all things to happen why does it has to be the car... why????? Parents are out to Ipoh, so they are yet to come back. At the moment it's like waiting to be buried. Still thinking whether i should drive to the nearest mechanic to fix it. The thing is it's a holiday... damn, most shops are closed and according to my fren it's quite hard to fix. So, i guess this spells d-i-e.

I always think that when things are not going right, it just won't go right. I'm still thinking wat are the odds of the door handle to break? This is indeed a bad day. When things go wrong the best cure would be Daniel Powter - Bad day... dedicated to EJ

You had a bad day
You're taking one down
You sing a sad song just to turn it around
You say you don't know
You tell me don't lie
You work at a smile and you go for a ride
You had a bad day

About less than 2 weeks left before I get a chance to taste working life. I’m 100% sure I’ll hate the part where I have to wake up as early as 6am or probably earlier. It’ll sure be sort of a de ja vu, reminding me those days during school days having to wake up so early…..damn..… sux big time…

In the mean time I’m trying to slowly adapt to the changes. Sleep early, try to wake up as early as possible and try hard to avoid naps unless its power naps (15-30mins nap). At the same time, having about an hour a day to exercise. I wonder if I can keep this up after working. Having to wake up so early in the morning and after coming back from work, it’s definitely gonna be tiring. But I guess I’ve made it just like any daily routine and it’s just a matter of getting used to it.

Haven’t been doing much lately, mostly chilling I guess. I think it’s been quite a while since the last time I came back home. So it’s good to spend some quality time with my family and that includes Sash as well. One of my main reasons for choosing my hometown for training is so that I can spend more time with my family. I felt that there’s a chance that I might not be working back here in future. I wouldn’t wanna regret in future looking back, thinking that I should have spend more time with my own family. During the morning, I do help mum in the kitchen. I can always learn a thing or two bout’ cooking, which is great for me and I’m sure it’ll come in handy in future. =>

The other day had to spend some time to fix the baby-court. My cousin is expecting a baby towards end of November and so is my sister, who is expecting a X’mas baby. Man, I just hope my life will still be this peaceful when the babies arrived. Never fond of babies… urghh

Talk bout’ X’mas, started a ‘tradition’ last year. As always time goes by just like that, last year seemed like just yesterday. I thought of continuing this ‘tradition’ if I had the chance to. I think I can make it a lot more special than last year. Hmm.. we’ll see how it goes =>

Thought of learning some other martial arts; probably kick-boxing, ju-jitsu or aikido. But I’m not really sure if there’s any class around here. Gotta go look around.

Don’t think I’ll be updating my blog so frequently cuz I feel like taking a break from the net. Well I prefer to watch tv or go out for a ride rather than online. So I guess that’s all from me…signing off here

Ciaoz~

Happy holidays guyz~!

Today I had a day out with both my sisters since they wanted to give me a treat. It’s been quite a while since the last time we ate together. Didn’t really up lately, don’t ask me why. Anyway initially they made a reservation at the newly opened Tony Roma’s. I’ve been hearing all the hyped about it from them. Both my sis and bro in law tried it when they were in US and also in S’pore. I’ve heard so much bout it and they were really excited that it’s finally opened in M’sia.

So, when we went it to the shop, we had a strange feeling already since they have non- Chinese and Indian workers. We had a look at the menu and asked the person at the reception… is it halal? The waitress gladly replied “Yes it’s halal”. With disguise we cancelled the reservation and left the place. Both my bro in law and sis was hugely disappointed and so am i. What the hell is wrong with the person who brought in the franchise? is he bloody stupid or what? For a place which world wide famous for its rib, award winning pork ribs and it’s not even in the menu? It’s like going KFC and they tell you they don’t sell fried chicken. What more can I say, some of the things in M’sia is really pure nonsense.

In the end we downgrade to something simple since all of us were already starving. Then we head down to 1U where they had this new thing called “Batting cages”. They have automatic throwing-ball machines and it’s just like baseball, just HIT the damn ball. Well, I thought it was really fun. If you have any frustration, this will really help. But when It was my turn, my frustration turn into “tulan-ness”, damn... it’s not as easy as it looks ok. The first few times when I thought I had it but somehow missed. Here’s a tip if you wanna try it. It works for me though. We’re supposed to stand in a box and wait for the ball to be shoot. The place where we’re standing is not a flat ground but rather a slope. After I changed my position only I can hit the ball, cause I think the reason of it is everyone has different height and all of us has different level of height when we hold the bat. I do think this affects, especially if you can’t hit the first 3 balls, it’s time to change position. My middle finger was already killing me at that time thanks to the bowling yest where i actually sprained my finger. But when i was holding the bat, i just try to wack it as hard as i can. In the end of the day my finger got worst and i can hardly hold a pen. But it’s quite addictive and it's those type you can't get enough of. I wouldn’t mind going again. =>

As for dinner, sis took me to a place called “The Rib Shop”. Lolz.. somehow this is like a replacement or second choice and it’s like we wouldn’t settle for anything other than ribs since M’sia’s Tony Roma’s was a big letdown. Well, “The Rib Shop” at Damansara Heights, quite a nice place actually, nice environment and they have a wine shop inside l, wide range of wine, great service as well. Does feel like a exclusive place and definitely a place where you can go for a date. Unfortunately, the rib that I had wasn’t as good as my sis’s. I had slow braised ribs, which was bit too salty. But the pasta was great. We got ourselves a bottle of wine and as we ate, we sipped and chat.

Well it was a lovely dinner and a great day as well particularly after receiving one good news. Anyway,

Happy birthday to myself - 22, single and still looking for the true meaning of existence in life.

F R U S T

Sometimes I felt like I tried hard to be part of something but it just somehow feels so hard and complicated. It might not be exactly complicated or maybe I just can’t seem to express it in words.

When I think about it, I kinda hate myself for that. It’s sumthing that I would really wanna change bout myself but it looks unlikely. For me I do not really like it when other people whine bout minor stuff or even bitch bout every little things but often I do find myself constantly whining to nobody but myself. Why do things have to be this way? I do see myself more like a free-thinker; I doubt the existence of god. If everything were linked to god then life itself would be simple as every question leads to god itself. I do think that this will limit the power of the human mind.

Recently I watched a documentary show about ‘the boy with divine powers’ which is basically about a boy name Bahadur Banjan , 15 years old who’s from Nepal. He is believed to be a reincarnation of Buddha. This amazing boy actually meditated for 10 months, cross-legged, sat under a tree just like what Buddha used to do..and all without food and water. He’s aim was to meditate for 6 years until he gains enlightenment. Anyway what really amazes me is how strong a human mind can be.

Anyway, my point is nothing is impossible and a lot of things are basically related to mental toughness. That is what I like about sports where most of the time it’s based on mental strength rather than physical strength. For instance jogging, I believe that when you reach the point where you tell yourself that you can’t go on any further.. you feel so tired.. that already limits your mind. When you yourself call it a quit, your directly shutting down your subconscious mind and it makes you physically weak as well. As for me if one day for example, I set a target to complete two laps, by hook or by crook I will complete the damn lap unless injury takes place. Necessary precaution is always necessary, prevention is better than cure.

Unfortunately not all things are so direct. There are things which I hate because it does not really depend on yourself rather there’s so many factors involved. It can be cause of you own background or probably the way you grow up, the people that influenced you to what you have become… constantly again it does makes me wonder all the times…

I think majority of people are unhappy with their life and are always trying to change something to make their life better. Everyone knows that we should always appreciate the things that we already have. Will we be happier if we just give up on things and accept that there are things that we will never get? Personally I do not think I can do that. All I know is nobody is perfect in this world, and I truly believed in this theory. Even if there is a smart, handsome rich guy there’s surely something wrong somewhere with him or there’s this smart, hot looking girl who’s good in sports as well, I still think there’s surely something wrong somewhere with her. My point here is there's a trade-off for everything. For every normal human being, no matter how many good qualities you have, you surely have negative qualities as well.

Everything in this life is pretty much well-balanced. There's always a opposite something. Even in martial arts where there's the soft element and the hard element. It is up to ourselves to apply it.

All I know is learn to accept people’s weakness and see it as a beauty.

Recently i hit upon an e-book which i find it rather amusing though there is truth in it up to a certain point. Basically it's bout man and woman. Yepz, as simple as that. Most of it's theories are research based, experimented and it's sort of to help both sexes understand each other better i guess.

According to British study, a man may be classified as a breast man, a buttocks man, or a leg man. And, although many women will insist otherwise, most women are certified butt watchers. In other words, these are what they called people's favourite eyeball destination.

When women say "I Haven't Got a Thing to Wear". Women, Don't Worry about It. Men, Worry about It.
When a man is well dressed, it signifies his ability to provide for her offspring. Even when she's wondering "Should I or shouldn't I tonight?" how well you could care for her and her unborn children is in the back of her mind. Don't blame the woman. She's just instinctively doing what Mother Nature decrees.

Fact : No matter how well the unattractive women were dressed, however, overall it was a no-go. Save your expensive clothes to impress your girlfriends or your prospective employer. With men, how you carry yourself, your hair, your nails, your makeup, your grooming, your friendlines that counts.
Women, the next time you say, "I haven't got a thing to wear," don't worry about it. Any outfit will do as long as it's flattering. He's going to mentally undress you anyway. ( Disagree!! not all guys think that way)
A smile, good makeup, and receptive body language is far and away your most enticing ensemble.

Difference between both sexes:
Women deepen relationships by talking together. Men bond by doing
things together.

Here is a surprising truth—all the studies support it. Your chances of finding and keeping true love are even better if you don't marry someone drop-dead gorgeous, filthy rich, or a prince or princess. Why? Because balanced benefits make happy campers, especially in the long run. People are happier when their assets equal out.
Women, if it's happiness you seek, you don't want to marry the handsome prince. Men, you don't want to marry the beautiful princess. The more superior your partner is to you, the quicker you'd both feel wretched. When there is an imbalance in a relationship, both partners sense the inequity and try to restore balance. In other words, they try to even the score. But in reality, the inferior partner will wind up worried, insecure, and always afraid of not measuring up.

Well, i guess that's all from me. Havent got much things to blog lately, everything has been pretty much the same everyday, uneventful. Study week... sigh... time seems to be ticking everytime i do sumthing other than studying.

Anyways....G'luck n all da best to all ya peeps =>

A day out

Had a day out with ma buddies yesterday where we watched this movie. All i know bout' this movie initially is that it's based on a game. However i've never played nor seen the actual game before. So, with nothing to expect but chicks from this movie, my first impression when Devon Aoki first appeared was crap, the main star had so many freckles on her face. Hmm..i was wondering what happened to the make-up artist. Then, as the movie goes on, there were more and more chicks. My perception for Holly Valance sort of changed after watching it. Before this, i don't think that she's pretty or what and i still don't think she's pretty but she does have the appeal. Not bad at all...

Anyway, most of the gurls in this movie have great body. I felt like this movie is made for the guys viewing pleasure. Wonder what the gurls think of this movie when they watch it. I think the only part which gurls will enjoy is where all the gurl really kickass and beat up all the guyz. So to all gurls out there, i guess this is the closest that u'll get, for a girl to beat up a guy.. YEPZ.... in movies ONLY or mabbe in ur wet dreams. The funny thing is when the guy lost to the gurl, he can still put on a smiley face and admit defeat. In real life, if that really happens...lolz i think the guy would have killed himself. Well i'm not being sexist here, it's just the way things are. It's somehow unrealistic, unthinkable...

This movie actually reminds me of Street Figther, where there's bouts 1 on 1s. I do like the scenes where they fight(the part where Ayane vs Kosumi at the bamboo trees area), there's the kewlness factor. I think from this kinda movie, definately u dun expect to see some great storyline or any intelligent plot. The action was ok, it's more like for viewing pleasure.

After the movies, ma buddies insisted on playing bowling. Well, i'm not particularly fond of bowling actually. I would rather play pool or snooker over bowling. But since after much persuasion, i gave in and i actually played bowling for the very first time in my bloody life. Yes, it's funny but it's truee. It actually felt quite tension at first and it almost felt worst than having to do fyp presentation. It was a tense moment and my dumb buddies made the competetive feeling where nobody wants to be last. I was an obvious disadvantage, since among them i'm the only "virgin". I was sure as well, the weight for the ballz, so i had to test one by one. So, five of us played, in the end of the game, i've only managed a score of 80, joint last with another fren of mine. At the end of the game, the feeling of dissatisfied is there, felt i could have done better, so we added another game. I was still getting used to throwing and failed to find the consistency and at times i sapu-ed the longkang. In the end of game 2, only improved by 5 pins, at least this time i was 3/5. But still very "pik chek" can't pass 100.

I do wonder sometimes if i have too high expectation on myself. But like they say, ' shoot for the moon even if you miss you'll land among the stars'. But sumtimes i wonder if it's ' shoot for the moon land on the moon else, mission failed'.
anyway i will be back to bowl again~!! arghh... 'beh syiok'

During dinner time i did something which can be considered quite crazy. We were at Chillis for dinner and for drink i ordered the bottomless fruit juice. Just before i ate my meal , i refilled two times, so before i ate, i was drinking my 3rd cup. After i finished my meal, i refilled again and was on the verge of trying all the fruit juice which are available at Chillis. Firstly, i drank Mango, then i refilled with Orange, then Apple followed by Guava , Lime and Pineapple. Yepz 6 cups !! I've oni miss out on Tomato which is the last one i think , correct me if i'm wrong. The first 5 cups was OK but the 6th, man.. it took me a while to drink the whole thing. Another factor was the fruit itself, the Lime and Pineapple is abit hard to drink, partly cuz it's kinda thick, sour contains pulp. I don't think that drinking so much juice will increase sugar rate, cuz the sugar content in fruit juice compared to soft drinks are different, if i'm not mistaken. Have you ever heard of people getting diabetes cuz of drinking too much fruit juice?

I think to complete the all 7 fruits is possible, but there should be something really valuable on the line to make me to do it again...ahha it really took a while to settle down after that...lolz..

What a day.... it actually felt like after finals..

16th sept 2006, 9.30am - my group partner has just finished he's presentation. So next up is me, i walk up to my moderator, pass him the evaluation form and asked him politely "Can i start sir? ". He replied "Yes". So i started, "First of all, good evening to my moderator Mr. Jaya and my supervisor Mr. Yap. I will be presenting my project titled.....

Well that was when i was told that sumthing was wrong. Hmm..if u still dun find anything wrong with that, it's perfectly OK. It was more like a mere techincal error. I don't think it was the nerves. Here's why, the room was kinda dark, so it doesnt really felt like morning. Another thing is i was kinda fresh and i jogged earlier that morning at 6.45am. Normally i don't jog in the morning cause i don't like to wake up early. So majority of the times, i jog during evening, so it kinda felt like an evening. I just when with the flow.....

I was kinda dissapointed with how it went cause i don't know why i seem to have problem articulating my words. Probably there were too much theories involved and my slides were mostly diagram based so the points is all in my head. Previously i had to cut down my slides, based on advice from my supervisor because it was too many. Anyway, my supervisor felt it was OK..but i can't help but feeling not OK.

My favourite English football team --> Tottenham Hotspurs was playing yesterday. It's good to be back at home watching, rooting together with my dad for our beloved team. However, looking at the past 4 games, it's not a start that all Spurs fan would want to see neither did wat the pundits expected to see from a side who supposed to be playing champions league football if not for the well-done job of "some" team poisoning our team players at the very last match of last season. So, i wasn't expecting much from Spurs to sweep aside a mediocre Fulham team. Sadly, i think that my team has the quality to win the game easily if not for the poor tactical knowledge of our team manager Martin Jol. I have no idea why the hell would he still want to go with the width when we already don't have any wingers in the team at all? And why is Jermaine Defoe is not in the starting lineup? I think Murphy shows everyone why he's not getting much football at Spurs , cuz simply he suxx big time. It was obvious that the team needs to change formation. After the match, Jol, stated "We have to work on our team shape and teamwork." Yea your god damn right you better change it ! Jol, are you damn bloody blind or what? Can't you see what is wrong with the formation???

I was so annoyed that, even our team had so much possessions, the plays were simply predictable, with Chimbonda and Ekotto trying to provide the width.Credits to Fulham's defence as well, they are generally strong in aerial challenge. I'm not taking anything away from both our fullbacks, i thoguht they played well especially Chimbonda, i'm just so glad that we have him in our team. Zokora was a bit off form for me, nevertheless i'll still give him time to settle in, since he has a huge burden , having to take Carrick's role as well. Murphy was pretty invisible for me, totally unlike the player that did so many killer pass for Charlton last season. There were so many freekicks and corners but we hardly had a shot on target. The quality of the delivery is another issue, it was really poor.

This should have been the formation for the game..
With Keane and Defoe playing as wingers-cum forwards, and Mido as the target man. Overlapping runs by Ekotto and Chimbonda. With Jenas coming from deep, this formation would have worked!

This first few weeks is really tough for Spurs, having so many players coming in, with our influential loss of Carrick, we still need some time to settle down. Next up, is Liverpool....a team which is beatable. Having already lost their previous two matches, i just hope Jol reads this and jot down this bloody formation you fat ass...

Out of this dissapointing weekend, i can only take one thing positive from it.

Waitin for D-day

Quite a busy week for final year students, all preparing for presentation. For me i think so far i've completed my slides almost 90%, still yet to edit my video clips and somehow felt like changing here and there.

I guess everyone is nervous before the presentation and most of the concern is whether the moderator or supervisor will "shoot" or not. For me, what is more scarier than getting into the ring and to fight another person?

Well, i'm just hoping for this to finish asap since this is sort of the last task this sem apart from having to study for finals of course.

Good luck and all da best to my classmates n frens n those who gave comments in my blog =>

G'luck roomiee!!!

G'luck David!!

G'luck ah Tan!!

hmm.. last but not least

G'luck Plushie!!

Hope i din miss out anyone

Those dat adi presented wish me luck *wink wink*

Issue with pee-ing

Today.. 11th Sept. 2006 is a strange day. Or probably u can say that i sort of had a strange encounter. Well it was afternoon, after my lecture as usual when i suddenly had a
call for nature. So i head to the nearest toilet..

So, in the toilet i was at this urinal... anyway i bet u dun know what's a urinal, don't u? i took sum time to search for this damn thing..previously i myself dun know wat is this
thing called though i've been using it for quite sum time and i can guran-damn-tee u most guys or all the guys don't know wat is this thing called, so can't blame me , rite?
Here's a pic of a urinal:

1st incident
I was at my urinal compartment, then there was this guy who came and pee-ed next to me, not literally.. dumb-ass but at the next urinal beside mine. All i remembered was he was goin fast
just like spraying water, den i was like ok..this guy must be really 'kap'. So, when he was done with he's thing, here comes the annoying part, he was like starring at mine. Well i understand that it's huge but it's still rude to stare. At the same time it's like as if this punk'd ass kid is teasing me " I'm done with my stuffz and ur still standing there pee-ing" *grin*
wat an asshole...

2nd incident
I was at this shopping centre called Alamanda. So..... yea u got it rite. Nature calls. So when i went in the toilet, at the urinal compartments, there was this foreign guy, looks like some fella
from middle east, in working clothes. He was standing at one of the urinal. So i din bother much and just settle my stuff. When i went off, the guy was still standing there..and there
was no pee sound at all...
After about an hour later, nature calls again, i drank a lot of water ok, just in case ur wondering... Anyway i went to the same toilet again, and when i went to the urinal compartment, i saw the same guy standing at the same urinal~!!! He was like tryin so hard to pee but he just can't do it.There was no pee sound at all.. I was thinking probably he has a shy bladder.
He looks as if he's trying to motivate himself, "C'mon buddy!! peeee!!! peeee!!! you can do it!!!! "
For me, it was a bit un-easy to pee there cuz the guy seems weird. God knows if he'll do anything while i was pee-ing. Sum more when i was pee-ing he kept taking a peep at me, cuz we were facing opposite direction and i realized dat he kept turning he's head. Man, i just settle my stuffz as quickly as possible and get out of that place. When i left, he was still standing there, soundless....
Later, after like bout half an hour when i was about to leave Alamanda, i saw the guy came out from the toilet,
hmm..he must have finally done it... congrats dude~!!!

Eve of merdeka

30th August , 11.30 pm - Me and 3 of my friends were at the Petronas petrol station in Cyberjaya. After filling up the petrol, my fren wanted to inflate he's tire. So while waiting for my fren, all of a sudden a group of guys were approaching my frens. The car was surrounded and i knew this is a bad sign. Somehow the atmosphere was like being robbed. At that time i was sitting at the back seat with another fren. Then all i heard was " POLIS, KELUAR TUNJUK IC" and there's this guy holding the bloody torch light flashing towards me. I was like what the fuck. The thing is these guys are not in uniform and i wasn't convince that they are police and if u look at all of them , they just look like criminals , like sum indon ppl.

It was hell of a sudden and sort of rude awakening, they weren't polite at all and they treat us like we sum bloody suspects. My fren who was inflating the tire got a shocked when a guy came from behind asking " APA KAU BUAT ?? " All of us thought that we were robbed. Then we were asked to take out our IC, and they took it. At that time i was still puzzled cause they didn't explain much and they didn't say much. Probably because i was in the car while the rest of my frens were already getting a clearer view of what's happening. At first i wanted to ask them to show they IDs, cause i still wasn't sure who are those ppl even though they claim to be police cause none of them were wearing any uniform. There were bout 10 people there, including about 2 ladies and a van which does not have any indication of police. There were also 2 malay punks squatting down , handcuffed.

It was a pretty tensed moment. I barely had time to look around when my name was called and they passed me a small plastic container and asked me to fill it half cup. Then oni i get the pic. It's not cause i'm slow ok, it's just that it happened so fast and those guys are like bloody fucking robbers. So i head to the toilet, just when 1 of the compartment, there's one guy who was following me and he said " Tak bleh masuk dalam , keluar.. " So i thought ok, makes sense... he's afraid that i'm gonna fill it with sum chrysanthemum tea. So when i was trying hard to fill the container ( i just oni pee-ed b4 i came out) , i knew i can do it, just that it's weird when u have sum1 standing behind u, and it's like giving u the pressure to pee. It's a real tensed moment.

So, while i was concentrating real hard to pee, this guy was asking me question where am i from. I said "Penang.. " then he replied " So you can speak hokkien ? " (in Hokkien). I just gave him a short reply and said yea as i was still concentrating HARD to pee and i'm still not pee-ing dammn it. THen the bugger asked more question, what am i'm doin here, (told him i'm from MMU) , then he asked what year am i... etc At that time i was like i adi tryin to concentrate to squirt some pee but it just can't come out and this mutha fucker can't shut the hell up. He's like those ppl who met another person who knows how to speak hokkien and he himself knows a bit or wat and tries to show off he's hokkien proficiency. He just kept askin me questions after questions which is distracting me. In the end i just ignored he's question and just do what i gotta do else he would have to wait a lot longer for my holy water.

After that, he sort of locked the container with a key. The container has a hole which looks like a lock, not too sure what's the purpose. Behind of the container there's a indicator which shows whether it's positive , negative or invalid. So the result was pretty fast, within few minutes time. Though it felt quite long during that few mins. A lot of stupid things went through ur mind. It's like you know ur clean but u still have that what if , someone just now added something into my food and so on ... all those kinda stupid stuffz. My frens were lucky cuz they get to go in together, where else i had to put up with the guy , who is a chinese i think but looked like a malay.

So, after the few minutes the results were clear and one of the fellas checked my container and i'm free to go as expected. I think they got a tipped of and were looking for random checks. After that, when we're free to go it's like kinda weird feeling, can't really describe how it feels, we're a bit stunned at the same time felt like being robbed, although we didn't lose anything but gained sum un-necessary experience . But at the same time it does feel bit insulting to had to go through such test, i'm an athlete mutha fucker~!!! In the end we did had a good laugh bout it and we made a mistake , shouldn't have thrown the container away, it would have been a good souvenir and it i could have posted it here. Nevertheless it's a hell of a UN-FORGETTABLE day~!!!!

3 things that makes you feel old in MMU:

1. When ur ID starts 10211... while nowadays it's 105110 or more..

2. When others are talkin bout assg while there's oni one
thing in ur mind... FYP

3. The word Epsilon in physics denotes permitivity , while in astronomy, it denotes the 5th brightest star in a constellation but in MMU it denotes that ur old hag and there's no living
creature older than u.

Combined training in MMU MLk

My alarm rang at 6.45am this morning. Subconsciously i turned it off and went back to sleep. Fortunately i somehow woke up at 7am and quickly prepare meself. Went out to gather with the other guys at 7.15am. Felt really lazy to go, kinda lacking sleep as well, slept at almost 3am the night before.

Reached MMU Mlk at about 8.30am. It's been kinda long since the last time i went back to Melaka. Well the last time i went there was bout 3 years ago. Quite a lot of changes from what i see. Yet it still have the feel of ' i was here before' kinda feel.

Immediately when we reached there we head to the main hall, where we started off with a basic warm up. Then, up next was jogging. I did not take part cuz i was wearing slippers , lolz wasn't really informed bout sports attire, anyway still kinda worried that my right knee joint will cause me problem. It's still causing pain the last time i jog, worst case i might need a check up. After jogging, the next agenda was aerobics *raised eyebrow* Not really the type of training i was expecting, cuz i find it rather sissy. Didn't really enjoy it and it was quite long. Non-stop for an hour i think. After that they have a warming down session before we were given a short break for breakfast.

After breakfast, we changed into our gi (uniform) and being as low-profile and humble as i alwiz do i was wearing white belt. Next, was another warming up session and punches and push-ups repetitively, the tired-ness came in but it was more like a mental challenge. 'Mind over matter' kinda thing. I do enjoy this type of training when i'm being push to my limit it's damn fuN. It was another 2 hour session of training which includes warming up and warming down in the end before we head for lunch. By that time our gi was soaking wet already and we have a one hour break before the next training session which is kumite (sparring).

I think at that time i felt more to sleepy rather than tired especially after eating. But once we started warming up again for the kumite session, the feel is there. One of the thing that i enjoy there is definately the kumite session because i'm just like any teenage guys still full with tons of energy to release , so it's really fun to have that rush of blood when u fight. It was of course tiring but fun at the same time. After that, i was like 'what da hell' when the master wanted to do something like a mini competition. Where he pick randomly two person to fight againts each other while the others watching.

The master did call for volunteers especially those from cyber. At one point it was like a cyber vs mlk kinda thing. The last time i went for combine training in mlk i seems really wanting to have this inter-varsity fights but i dun know why this tournament did not realized, as they pulled out the previous time. Anyway, when volunteers were asked, lolz sum of us were pointing fingers. Man, i don't wanna fight. There's no motivation, nothing to be won, nobody tthat i wanna impress and i don't need to prove anything at all. The only thing which was as stake was of cuz u urself as a fighter and the pride of cyber vs mlk. Other then that i think the risk is not worth it. Injuries can be enevitable , it's just a risk i would not want to take.

After all that, we still have a warming down session and to end the training we were given time to meditate. The training ended at 5pm and most ppl were already half dead. But i do have to say the members in mlk are prett fit. They're kinda lucky as well as they have a great place to train unlike in cyber where the training area is just shitty.

MMU MLK Aeroarts room

One thing that i'm not really sure is whether the master was displeased about some of us not wearing our actual belt color which i think should not be an issue. The funny thing was when he asked me what year am i and when i told him final year, he asked " final year still white belt?? "
My answer was just, not exactly as my fren who was standing beside me giggling....

I've been to a combined training in Uniten where all the members wore white belt even though some of them are already black. I find it strange at times when people care so much about ranks. To me, belt color is just a mere indicator of how long u've been training. If people can't see beyond the belt color then the quality will not be there as the only focus is the rank. I have no respect for such people...

Overall, the training was a real intensive training which was as expected. Definately a good training if it was a pre-training before a tournament. Think my body got bit dehydrated, sweat till da max. Normally, two days before the day of a tournament you need to train till you're really tired and the next day u take a day off and u should be able to see your shit so darn black in colour and it's like in ketul2. It shows dat ur body absorb the liquid till dry. Then the following day u'll be superman my fren...

Oh shit'

No, i'm not talkin bout the song London bridge from Fergie.....

I just had a damn freakin bad hair cut.... man.. this is awwwfullll~!@!@##$$*$&

One of the downside of having spiked hairstyle. It gets long very fast and when it does it becomes impossible to stand. Initially wanted to wait till next week so that i can go bak to my usual place back in Penang. Unfortunately i can't wait another 10 more days and decided to get a hair cut asap.

Main problem is the hair stylist doesnt seem to interprete things well. And when she took out the machine , and after the first zap.... my ballz kecut(shrinked) , i gaped , became speechless. Rice turn to porridge........

After that only i can see what is she trying to do with my hair. She sort of wantz to turn me into a freak. The style looks so damn bloody punk'd almost like mohican that i had to stop her and tell her to cut more evenly though not much hair left. When she asked " So u still want shor..." , i gave her an immediate response of "NOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!"

watchin my hair being zap like dat feels like a tragedy... as if worst then witnessing a guy being bang by a car, and the head being run over and over again tillthe brain goes splashing out into millions and millions of pieces

Sigh..this is bad...

The end of the great season. This reality show rocks~! I think it's even nicer than American Idol partly because AI has been around quite some time, and probably got bored of it.

Reality shows that i like to watch :

2. American Idol
3. Contender (really wanna watch the latest 1, but there's nobody sharing here..Dammnn)
4. Beauty & the Geek (not bad, quite interesting but too few episodes)
5. Apprentice (good show but din really download it)

midterm break........................gone just like dat , just like any other breaks. It was cut short too cuz i actually came back earlyto attend this year's convo. It's da perfect chance for me tomeet up with my frens from MMu Mlk who are graduating. Thelast time i remember seeing them was like in Alpha year. And hell year! it's been quite a while.

It was the first time for me to be attending any convocation.Since from wat i know, previously all the convos are in Mlkso not really borthered to go all the way there. My impressionof convo is , it kinda sux cuz of the freaking amount ofpeople there and it's so damn hot. Really sux, makes u go cranky. With people taking pic here and there, people walking here and there, flowers , soft toys etc uhhh to make things worst this is wat i'll be facing in one years time!!!! !@#$% @#%$^&*

The first day of convo nobody knows wat time the grads will beout. So went there bout 11.30am and walk around. More a lesshad my lunch there while waiting for the grads to come out. There's a lot of outsiders as expected. Pretty much the first time i've seen the campus being so packed.Just before the gradswere out i was sort of reminiscing when they played PermataDunia. What went thru my mind was during the OC dayz. Before OC, i neva really listen to the song before. To be exact i'venever attended orientation before though i entered MMU since ALpha.

The reason..... i was a late comer. If i'm not mistaken i waslate for like 3 or 4 weeks or so. So i didn't had the feel oforientation before and i neva really felt that i miss out anything. So was never actually know bout Permata Dunia, even during theOC interview, heck i dun even know how to sing the chorus. But of cuz during OC we had to sing it again and again. Since then i never felt bored everytime we had to sing it. So when i heard the song again during Convo, i felt those days, and i wassang along... deep inside me =>

It's already more than halfway through this semester. When thesem ends, it'll be industrial training. Next thing u know,it's the final sem in MMU. Uni life is more a less a oncein a lifetime expereince. Only thing that can be done nowis to appreciate every moment of it and try to make da bestout of it. Somehow i think i'm gonna miss MMU...damn

Day out

The main purpose for my blog is actually for me to scribble a piece of my life from time to time. It wasn't intended to be spread publicly. I'm only aware of few people reading it. To my surprise when i found out recently that it was linked somewhere. It was probably a mistake to have a link, thanks to my ol' roomie. That was probably the root of evil. From it, there's how peeps like you guys existed. Anyway there's no point crying over spilt milk. The damage has been done...

Anyway, yesterday i watched Dragon Tiger Gate. Well normally i would think twice before watching any chinese movie cuz of past experience. When i watched the trailer of this movie i felt that this movie might worth a worth, since it's full of action, being a martial artist there's weapons which is one of my field of intesrest & there's an element of adventure which is + for me, definately not cuz it's Nicholas Tse in it.

So, after getting tickets, armed with my large combo popcorn i think this is one of the best feeling eva.. Can't remember anytime when i watched a movie and didn't have any popcorn to go with it apart from the time when i watched Pirates of the Carribean cuz i juz only had my dinner. I was really tempted though and got bit distracted by other people's popcorn sound. It was almost unbearableeee. Being a punctual person as alwiz , lolz was just in time for the ads n trailers before every movie , well u know the queue. For me the best of ads is of cuz the Tiger beer ad, yehH babe Jessica Alba and her bee stung succulent lips. *it's getting hot in here*
" So whose gonna get me a Tiger beer?", Jessica Alba
" Here's your Tiger babe *growl* So where's my p.......... ", EJ

Alright snap out dude, bak to Dragon Tiger Gate~!
The movie started off, giving me a bit of de ja vu feeling. The starting was similar to one of those superheroes movie from hollywood where there's comic strip flipping though i cant really recall from which movie, was it Spiderman? hmmm....... probably. Well, for me the story line and plot is kinda cheesy and corny. The only thing i'm not too sure which is more , corny or cheesy. The story line is kinda predictable too, and it's straight forward good vs evil. The sense of fashion for the characters is horrible , even when they were kidz they were overdressed. Very ah beng-ish, well no surprise even when the name itself Dragon , Tiger , Turbo says it all. Well i can understand that it's taken from a comic yet the whole thing was kinda crappy.

The oni main selling point for this movie is the effects and the actions. That's the reason for me to watch the movie. Unfortunately, the moves wasn't impressive at all. The level of difficulty is not very high. I'm not sure how many millions of people would have been able to do those kinda moves. There's one part, where Nicholas Tse was holding in a side kick position, he's leg was trembling and it's so damn obvious. Looking at the way he fights it's bit unbalanced, all kicks no punches, bet the oni thing he learned is Taekwondo all this while. Another guy with the weapon nunchaku, hmm this guy didn't really showed much other than he's nunchuks skill. Frankly speaking, the thing he does is kinda basic. Even EJ could have show u those kinda tricks as well *wink winK*. Overall i think i'll give this movie a 5/10. The fights were average, lacking intensity, the effects was the oni interesting part but then again the moves are excessively exaggerated.

For me it just justifies the fact that lately great performers of action movies related to martial arts are Jet Li, Tony Jaa( from Ong Bak & Tom Yum Goong) and Jackie Chan( Though he's slightly more to stuntman , nevertheless he's moves are slick and unique). It's just sad that Fearless is the last movie from Jet Li , hope he change he's mind bout that. Tony Jaa is one of the rising star lately, he's almost a complete fighter, only thing is he can't speak English which i think is the only thing blocking him from breaking into Hollywood.

After movies was walking around in 1U. There were so many stuffz on sale I bet the girls are shopping like that as if their parents ‘Im chua ji’ (IOW , print money). I did not have anything to buy, well……. Initially. As soon as I saw a shoe fair, all of a sudden I do have something to buy. Although I’m quite broke already , lolz but I think this can be considered as a necessity. It’s leather shoes which I’m looking for!!!

Actually I do have a pair of leather shoes already but it’s actually my dad’s shoes. It still looks new but it has shoe lace and it’s freaking uncomfortable. I was using it for OC the other day, at the end of the day I had blisters. Wearing it makes me feel like those days in China when women would tie their feet… lolz..

At one time I was quite closed to buying a Hush Puppies leather shoe once, but at that time there were oni one pair left and spot one defective part on the shoe. I’m quite a fan of Hush Puppies cuz I think their leather shoes are really comfy compared to other brands. Anyway , at the shoe fair I was again hunting for Hush Puppies unfortunately there wasn’t much choice and it looks bit tacky. But the inside still looks comfy. After walking around checkin out other shoes , tryin some out at the same time I spotted a few ones. Initially it was sort of slightly more expensive than wat I’m willing to pay for but after wearing it I felt that it’s kinda comfy and there’s proper padding at the right place something which is not common in leather shoes. So in the end, I bought em’ original price is RM 270 after discount is RM 190. I think the opening ceremony for this shoe would be during FYP presentation for this sem and to top the cherry on icing I’ll match it with my new G2000 shirt , grande opening ceremony.. YehhH baBeee~

Here's a good view of it..

Slipperryyy....

For the very first time in my life today... i killed two birds with one stone. Firstly i wore ice skates, secondly i stepped on ice and attempt to skate. It was pretty nervy at first, especially when putting on the skating shoes as it wasn't that comfortable. Actually they have one type of skates which has more cushion by the looks of it but it was rather limited and some of us had to settled for the one used for figure skating. It was so stiff that it's like wearing a total plastic and quite tight also.

At first i didn't thought that it is so easy to stand after wearing it since it looks just like a narrow blade. Anyway the first time i stepped on the ice, lolz it was totally like stepping on a banana skin, man it does takes a while to get used to the slippery feeling. It's a good thing that we have an instructor so at least get to learn more a less the correct way. Started off with walking and the started learning to glide. I'm kinda glad that at the end of the day i was able to glide around the oval skating ring for bout 1 or 2 rounds. As a person who neva roller-blade before and since this is the first time ever skating on ice i'm proud dat i did not fall even once :P . bangga siallll But i guess partly i did not really push it, was more determined not to fall so i didnt really go fast with the gliding, everything was pretty much under control. But it's ok i guess, since it's my first lesson i'll just take it slowly. Before i tried it, i thought i was goin to fall like shit but in the end i didnt fall at all which is good. But i think the next time i go i might have a higher chance to fall since we might be learning some new stuffz.

Another interesting that i learnt => and it's only like 10bucks. Man, totally worth it especially when there's people guiding. Lookin forward for it next week hopefully i will be able to go again. yeH babe~!

guess datz all from me, signing off

ciaoz

Rejuvenated

Have been rejuvenated recently although things haven't been good with Juve - La Vecchia Signora , my favourite Italian football team, hit with match fixing scandal recently and the club is virtually shattered slowly. Sad to say, but shit happens i guess.

Anyway it's been a while since i last enjoy training but it's good to see some graduated seniors coming back and train with us. A lot of kicking today which is great, my arms are bit sore cuz train too hard the other day and i can't remember the last time i train b4 the other day. I got a late notice on a Karate tournament which is coming up this Sunday. After thinkin bout it so many days whether to join or not to join, all of a sudden i have a hole lot of reasons to conclude my final decision. First of all i have 2 midterms coming up next week and i think one of it is kinda tough, so i need to spend more time on it. As if that's not enuff, i got to attend lab during the same day of my midterm, kinda sux but no choice. One lab report due this week as well. So that sorta makes a hectic week. Besides that a whole year burden which is the FYP, guess i don't really need to mention cuz it will definately keep me busy throughout this year.

Besides that i haven't been doin much or any jogging lately. Having a recurring knee problem. I just got it during one of the days when i go joggin, since then at times when i come down from staircase, it really hurts and i will find it really difficult to walk, thank god this year i'm stayin ground floor. I can't imagine if i stayed 5th floor, and the prob wouldn't be goin up stairs but coming down. So i guess it's really too bad that i have to miss out this tournament, sigh....

L'Italia E' Campione Del Mondo

Ever since i was small i seem to have the feeling for Italia. Hey, don't ask me why cause' when you like something you don't have to have a reason. It's like liking someone, you don't need to have a reason to like a person right? So the same applies. My love for Italy is something that i can't really describe , the passion for it. I just like everything bout' Italy.

When i was small, up to the time when i was in secondary school, i used to have this thinking. I've always look forward to go over to Italy, change citizenship and become Italian. I love the food and always wanted to learn the language. The people are beautiful, they have the city of fashion, Milan. It's just so kewl. I even thought of marrying an Italian girl and have pretty kids. During my days in school, all my friends know how hardcore am i for Italy. It has always been that way.

From what i can recall during the previous world cup

World Cup 94' United States
Italy managed to get through to the finals but unfortunately they lost on Penalties 3-2, quite a hard breaking moment. At that time i started to support Italy, partly cause' of my sisters influence. One of my first favourite players is Roberto Baggio, he was a great player unfortunately he's miss during the world cup finals is bit of pity.

Euro 96' England
Italy was a bit of a dissapointment during this tournament. Failed to qualified to the second round. Germany actually won it, so there's nothing much to cheer bout'.

World Cup 98' France
During this year i thought Italy played horribly, total catenaccio football as usual. They only manage till quater-finals and lost to France 4-3 on penalties. Another dissapointing performance.

Euro 2000, Benelux
Well, this tournament has been really eventful. I can still recall cleary. Italy and France met again and this time is during the finals. This two countries has really become real nemesis is world football. Italy was leading 1-0 up to the last 30 secs of the game when France equalize, i felt something really wrong and during extra time france scored a goal to win 2-1. Sux big time. I remember goin to school that day without saying a word at all. Just go school and come back. When i came back my dog who was really ill died. She suffered from some liver disease. I didn't even get to see her for the last time. Mom paid someone to bury her. Kinda sums up my day really...

World Cup 2002, South Korea-Japan
During this world cup i was in MMU Melaka doing my foundation course. I still remember the day when Italy played their last match in the tournament. It was againts South Korea, second round. I was a bit pissed at that time even before the match started cause' i had to take a dumb English test. I really wanted to watch the match. As soon as i finished the test, i quickly checked my hp cause i felt the vibration during the test and i knew my sis had updated me bout' the match. When i saw the sms it was written somethin like 'Italy is out...' , i couldn't believe myself, i was hoping that my sis is with her usual attitude of teasing me. I went back to Emerald park and checked online, so screwed up... Italy really got eliminated, controversial exit and i still felt the match was fixed. Another dissapointing year for Italy, after all the hype and all the thrash talk.

Euro 2004, Portugal
This year, yet again high expectations for Italy, and as usual they were one of the favourites to win the tournament. Unfortunately, they fail miserably, failing to qualify past the group stages narrowly. It was sucha big dissapointment. I was speechless and had to endure the taunts as usual. Nothing can be said as the team played poorly and crashed out so early in the tournment which eventually Greece won it out of nothing. One of the last team u'll put your money on. Once again the theory of the ball is around is never wrong.

World Cup 2006, Germany
After a long time supporting Italy, i still haven't witness them winning anything. Although they came close, but then again, so close yet so far. I did not have any high expectations on them this year and i keep my mouth shut, no thrash talking for a change though my heart is always with the Azzuri's. I sort of miss out the opening match of them playing Ghana cause' i was busy with Orientation and it's a bit hard to catch the match cause it was a bit tiring at that time and i'm not too sure whether they did show it on TV. After watching Italy go past the 2nd round and although they faced smaller teams i thought they did go strength to strength and showed their character. The semi-final match againts Germany was one of the best ever , where the Italians played superbly and it really makes you proud to be supporting them. After that match i really felt that this time there's something special bout' the team and they can actually win the whole thing.
One of the things that annoyed me was that after the qualified to finals, it's like all of a sudden there were so many people supporting Italy. These band wagon people exist everywhere i guess, just like kiasu people. There're everywhere no matter where you are.

During the finals, i was so hyped out for the matc. I was at Ikano/The curve there catching the match, there weren't as much people as i thought but it was OK generally. But i felt it could have been better cause' the bunch of people i was watching with weren't that fun, there were gurls and guys but none are actually pure Italian fans like me. I thought of goin to simply join any bunch of Italian fans but then again it doesnt feel right to leave my group of frens. So it was like a bit of syiok sendiri. It was bit of nail-biting match especially during the 2nd half cause' from there onwards it was all France. When it actually came to the penalties i wasn't that confident cause' the Italians had never won on penalties. But deep in my heart i felt that such jinx are just mend to be broken. In the end they really won~!!! WHEEEEE i actually felt like crying but i was close to tears actually, just that like i say i just lacked the feeling cause i wasn't watching with a bunch of Italian supporters.

One of the kewl part is having my face painted. It was a free service provided at the place. The funny thing is i actually left the painting throughout the day. Was walking around it in campus and almost everyone stared but who cares anyway. Not usually an attention seeker kinda person but i'm just doin it for the love of the country. FOrza Italliaaa , Sempree Italiaaaa~!!!!

Forza Azzurri

The other day i was searching for the Italian world cup jersey. The
reason why i left till so late to get the jersey was because i've been
always a die hard fan of Italy, seriously hardcore. Unfortunately since
previous years, they have failed to live up to expectations. Not to say
that i expect them to win every cup there is but more to like play good
football. Although they have been playing catenaccio system previously.
This year i felt the team was different. Especially the match againts
Germany where i felt that i've never seen the Italian team being so
dominant exchanging short passes, playing effecient football and
committing players forward while defending superbly. That was the moment
when i feel really proud to be a supporter.

This year i felt like there is a reason to give my full support of Italia.
The team looks like a different team, playing beautifully .
I was eager to wear the jersey for the finals to show my support. The
jersey looks awesome too. Frankly speaking i think Italy's jersey is the
best looking jersey among all nations. I think most ppl will agree with
that as well. Anyway i was a bit shocked to find out that the jersey is
sold out, all around KL, there aren't any left. The jersey's price was
RM 229 and it sold out, to my dissapoinment.

While i was searching for the jersey i saw a really nice jacket which
is basically a track top. It's a Adidas classic actually. But it looks
really good especially the embedded metal world cup thing. At that time
i find it too pricey cuz it was RM 299. Damn freakin expensive. So i
went bak and thought bout it.
I felt the jacket is something that can last cuz jerseys changes every
world cup. But the track top is more practical i think. Only downside is it's
not possible to wear the track top all the time. It would be damn bloody
hot.

In the end i made up my damn mind and got the track top. Got it cheaper
also, RM 289. That means i have to eat bread for the rest of the dayz
cuz that really burn the whole pocket itself not just a hole. Anyway here's
some lovely pics of my new track top...

Liking somebody is the least-productive thing in the world

It was kinda funny when i had this quote on my YM! status the other day. Didn't realize that from others point of view it might had sounded like a sore loser. Anyway quoted it from a Korean movie which i watched during the weekend. Don't usually watch Korean movies but hit upon this movie which is sumwhere inside my hard disk. I've downloaded quite a number of movies but i sort of rarely watch the movies dat i've downloaded so it snow-balled.

Anyway it does make sense, the quote from the movie, the full quote goes like this.... liking somebody is the least productive thing in the world. First of all, u don't get anything from it. You dun earn any money from it. It doens't feed u and stuffz. Yet, ppl still have crushes. So, why does this happens? It happens when it's more about giving rather than receiving. When a person would give so much just to make another person's day. Whether the person who received it appreciates it or not is another thing. This is the thing called L O V E

tension..

Today had karate training. Shihan highligted that most of us are lackin composure, calmness and passion. At sum point i am a bit 'terasa' but i don't deny it. Then after training i did asked him how can i be more calm. He explained that my techniques were ok , just that i just lack the confidence and composure. He's advice to me was to trust myself , believe in myself . I think he was right there, i don't know why recently i'm lacking bit of paassion and concentration during my Karate sessions. This sort of thing neva really happen previously. Partly is because i've become a bit jaded recently. Haven't been doing much training lately , not as much as i used to. Last time i was like damn bloody 'semangat' , wearing ankle weights to class, lift up my leg and hold the same position for seconds just to improve muscle control and lots of crazy stuffz.

I have to admit that i kinda miss all my previous seniors, those who graduated, the class seems to be different without them. It's not as competetive as it used to be. I used to look up to one guy, and he was sort of the martial artist that i want to emulate. It was sort of like having a source of inspiration and a close buddy to train with. It's a bit sad that he graduated , whatever left are just memories. Now, i can only do my best and try to be a good role model for the juniors.

Need to look for a new source of inspiration and always try to stay calm, focused and think of solutions rather than problems. Advice of the day from Shihan...

ciaoz

p/s Really hope Italy wiill make it through to the final, if they really do make it.. i think i'm gonna go get their jersey, but that will surely burn my pocket straight :P

Forza italia...

OC OC

Can't really tell if i've gone through something life-changing but what i do know is i had a lot a lot of fun during the holidays. Last semester was the last sem for delta year. At first felt like i need some lengthy break. It felt as if my 3 weeks break which was shorten to 1 week won't be enough. Went back to my home sweet home back in Penang for one week. The week ended in a flash and it somehow felt horrible having to return to Cyber so soon.

I had to return to Cyber for the binding camp for the OC (Orientation Committee). I can still remember the time when there's some part of me regretted applying for OC. Without knowing what lies ahead i can just hope for the best. The registration day was on Sunday, after moving in my stuff to hostel on that day, the only agenda we had that nite was more like ice-breaking. We were divided into groups as well. Our X-plosive group consist of Das, Prasanth, Suren, Wei Ni the horoscope master, Komala the superstar, Dina, Cecilia and Imran. Overall, i think our group was OK , though i think we could have bonded better. But the sharing session was bit of an eye opener. Especialy the first sharing session , makes me appreciate my life more cuz i felt that there are people who led a life which is a lot lot tougher than mine.

During the binding camp, we played a lot of games and indirectly during the games it somehows allows u to improve yourself in terms of speaking in a group. I felt that after this camp, i'm a lot more compose when talking in a group, able to pace myself. But of course it takes a bit of initiatives to do this as well. During the binding camp as well they will more a less judge ur participation level and at the end of the camp we will divided into respective bureaus. Generally s if a person is more talkative will get a higher chance to be in the mobile division. THose who talk less or rarely talks , usually ends up in food division which is no doubt the most boring division IMO. I was really keen to be in mobile cuz i did consult some seniors bout it and most people say that mobile divison is the best. I did try to talk bit, just to let them take notice of me. So at times i did give one or two comments. To me it's not important whether the comments was a good or bad 1. It's kinda funny to think of it, there was one time where i comment on the morning exercise that they organize. I was saying that the morning exercise is like bit pointless since we're not doing much so might as well let us rest more and moreover there's already sports in the evening. There were a lot of ppl who thought that i was requesting for something a lot tougher. I think that could have created a negative impression at the same time people will take notice, i guess the main idea was achieved =).

All the modules were quite fun. At first it was bit competetive even among group members cuz everyone was eager to take the lead and impress. It was bit like Apprentice. Everyone have their own ideas. It's quite competetive as everyone who was present is selected from god knows how many students who applied to be an OC. Anyway the modules were more fun than i thought. At first i thought it'll be quite serious kinda thingy but in the end, it was like playing games throughout the binding camp. My favourite was of course Angels and Devils but i felt that the way the play the game is not as fun as the version which i played with the CF group. I was so eager to be the devil and i get to be the devil for once but i only managed to be the final 2 devils bit dissapointed cuz i got voted out just oni by having extra one vote, so unlucky. The game that i was least interested to play is i think Mafia. Just can't stand having to look at people without blinkin the eye though they did change the rule a bit but still i wasn't too interested in playing the game. Booringgg~!

Throughout the 6 days of binding camp it was quite tiring, cuz we oni get to sleep earliest at 1am and having to wake up at 6am and get ready for morning exercise. Nevertheless it was kinda fun. There were also sports , something which i always enjoy. The games played was captain ball, something that i'm quite familiar with, dodge ball and one lame game which the rules itself was confusing. I think i enjoy most is during dodge ball, can't remember how many people i took out of the game and me myself never got hit at all. Man, i was damn good..lolz felt really good. I think i sort of stand out too much for sports and i'm kinda bound to get selected to be in Sports division. During the camp the co-ordinator did spoke to me bout being selected to lead the sports bureau. Well i'm not too keen bout it cuz at that time i still preferred mobile division.

During the last day of binding camp they did announce everyone's status to be in which bureau. Without any surprises i was chosen as Sports leader. I was bit dissapointed at first cause i still wanted to be in mobile. As for registration day i was on duty as hostel runners. Half of the day i was standing at the top floor just pointing to the freshies which wing for their rooms. It was quite boring actually but luckily i've got a partner to chat with.

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

I think i dun have enough time or rather i'm lazy to complete my experience in OC. So i guess i'll juz summarize whatever that i felt. I think OC is the best event ever to join in MMU. There's no event that can match OC simply because i think there's a lot of time which can be spent together and bond with new ppl. Reached my objective of joining it just before i grad. The OC experience was like an orientation for myself as well cuz i've neva experience orientation before. Previously i was a late comer during my alpha year. I was like 4 weeks late or sumthing so it's quite an experience.

guess dat'z all from me now

ciaoz
